Hello, This DAW is a sound designers dream. It has splitter fx where you can route audio to different chains of fx either by frequency or just a signal split. It allows you to compile multiple vst instruments as one instrument using the multi instruments. It has amazing plugin window management, if you search me on youtube you can see a video I've uploaded on this. Melodyne integration is amazing.
It keeps me more organized then even logic did. It has render audio fx abilities where you can apply fx to the region or track and bounce and render it. This DAW has everything I love about every DAW I've ever played with! This is the best DAW there is, mate. I recently switched from FL Studio to Studio One and let me tell you, there are a lot of things this software offers that fruity loops didn't. I own the artist version of the DAW, so I haven't yet explored all the capabilities of this DAW.
I am planning to buy the pro version within the next 6-12 months. Since this suits my needs, it shouldn't necessarily suit all your needs the way you want it to.
Don't be sheep, do your research, find your DAW, buy it. All the DAW are good, just find what you need. Been doing music since a while now Since 2009 been on nearly every daw there is, Pro Tools, ableton, propellerhead reason, bitwig studio, cubase, Logic, FL studio, Every one can't be compared to Studio one.

Logic is load of Shite Crashes often and its only for the shit imacs? Imacs are horrible machines and over priced garbage you pay for £/$1000 for shitty specs which costs around £200 if you got same specs for Windows. Plus Logic is slow, too much hassling about to draw some simple notes. Bitwig studio is kinda half cool supports Both 32/64Bit plugins no matter what bit machine your using! So can use them old vintage plugins, But it was new when i tried it kept on crashing on me even tho they promosed that vst won't crash the daw. Aswel as when playing certain hits on the drum machine its out of pitch was ok Daw.

Reason was my first daw was half good but same time had no audio support on the tracks, and Most of all no VST SUPPORT STILL!. Fl studio another daw that has old crappy style e.g i make a drum pattern if i wanted to change or remove one simple kick i have to re-create whole drum pattern again so gave up, ableton was great, just everything seem slow,l the search engine on it is HORRIBLE takes least 5 good mins to search something. Feck other Daws, Presonus studio one is PERFECT.

Fastest Daw and fastest way i can get ideas down on the Daw, the search engine is Fecking amazing search something within seconds Boom 'Hi hat' found, and when ever theres new version they upgrade BIG Time, even with the updates they add so much stuff worth every penny. Very easy to use aswel. At first, I started off with Logic 9 because that's what a few of my friends were using at the time, and that's what they used to teach me the basics of producing music. However, later on, I ended up coming across this producer on YouTube (Superstar O) and the DAW he was using was Studio One 3. I thought it looked so cool compared to Logic 9 and what made it even cooler was that it had a demo version of it, something that a lot of other DAWs don't have. I gave it a try and I immediately fell in love. The work flow and just the way it looked was really awesome.
The plugins it comes with are great, and I've been using it nonstop for over a year now. I'm not sure what music genre it's best for, but I make r&b, hip hop, and indie music/beats and record vocals very often, and it's a really comfortable program to use and has definitely gotten the job done well.
